Parents for Inclusion

Parents for Inclusion is a charity run by parents for families of disabled children. We promote the full participation of disabled children in mainstream education and in their local community. We want all children to feel loved and secure, flourish, make friends and be happy at school. We believe it is physical and social barriers, which prevent vulnerable children being included, rather than the children themselves.

We offer: A National free phone helpline, offering practical advice and information to families of disabled children, training on Disability Equality, the Parent’s Perspective and Inclusion Group Work Skills for professionals. We encourage parents to join our Training Pathway to become leaders and facilitators. We run inclusion groups in schools, nurseries, children centres and early years provision, which welcome all parents who might have any concern about their children.
