Carol was contracted by fundraising since December 2016 till to date.
Having started out her career as a Human Resource / Organizational Development Specialist, Carol hasexperience in organizational re-engineering and organizational development for medium and large organizations. She has the ability to implement systems, policies and procedures using a participatory approach, getting buy-in from senior management, while averting potential organizational risks. She has re-engineered a few organizations namely: Uganda Red Cross Society; Action Aid – Uganda; Joint Medical Stores, Uganda Health Marketing Group; Uganda National Forest Authority; Uganda Posts Limited; Uganda Science Education Project; Hub for Investigative Media supported by DW Akawamie among others. She has national, regional and international exposure having worked with International Federation and Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), where she served as a member of the HR Planning Group – Geneva, Switzerland representing Africa Zone from 2011 – 2014. she designed their strategic talent retention strategies to improve the Red Cross Movement’s skills, competencies and systems across Africa.
Carol is a trainer in result-based performance management; has the ability to monitor performance with constructive feedback and action-oriented evaluations for the mutual benefit of both the organization and employee. She is now with TATA International Limited as the Regional Human Resources Manager covering East Africa.
