The aim of the Skilled Grantseeker Programme is to equip fundraisers with the essential skills required to be successful in raising funds from charitable trusts. It is the most respected and in-depth high value fundraising training programme in Europe. Over four days, we cover the fundamental skills of researching donors, developing successful proposals, building relationships, planning and target setting.
Since 2013, over 300 organisations have put their staff on this programme, from the British Museum, Christian Aid, Child Bereavement UK, Opera North to Leonard Cheshire. Half of our participants complete the full programme, which has spawned dozens of ongoing peer support networks – which continue learning for years after the programme has ended. Equally popular, many opt for one or two events to address their specific training needs.
All courses will be delivered by Bill Bruty.
For experienced fundraisers we offer a fresh and innovative approach. For new fundraisers we provide a comprehensive toolkit for a successful career in grantseeking.

Each element will run twice each year in central London, normally from April to July, then September to December.

Skilled Grantseeker Programme Discount (please note)
Taking the whole ‘Skilled Grantseeker’ package – booking all four courses – brings the total cost down to £700 (£175 per event – normally £210). To take advantage of this offer select the “complete package ticket” and the discount will automatically apply. We look forward to meeting you on our courses.
You can book different people for the events and still qualify for the discount, as long as they are from the same organisation. You can also attend courses in different programmes; for example, two from the Autumn and two from Spring – if the dates are more suitable for you. If you want to take advantage of these flexible arrangements, book one person on and select one programme and we can adjust the bookings offline.
All prices include VAT at 20%.
If you have a discount code, you don’t need to use it for the Complete Skilled Grantseeker Programme. The discount has already been applied and brings the total cost down to £700 (from £840). To take advantage of this offer select the “complete package ticket” and the discount will automatically apply.
