Jamina Apio

Jamina is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda who specializes in intellectual property, cyber and data protection law, property law, corporate commercial litigation law, contractual, legal and advisory matters with added experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has had the opportunity of sitting on a number of boards as company secretary and has advised a number of clients on their corporate governance structures and compliance.

She is a certified mediator having obtained a Certificate from the California State Bar in association with the Intellectual Property Rights Initiative.

She has provided legal counsel and guidance to a number of non-Governmental Organizations, on matters of regulatory compliance and due diligence, financing and borrowing, contracts management, and legal representation before judicial and arbitral tribunals.
