Veronica Mundrua

Veronica has over 30 years of work experience acquired from multi-cultural humanitarian organizations. She has worked for the Uganda Cooperative Union, the European Union Micro Projects Program, Oxfam GB, National Authorizing Office at the Uganda Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (Uganda), Action Against Hunger. She has also worked with various donors like European Development Fund (EDF), ECHO, SIDA, Europe Aid, USAID, Oxfam GB and Oxfam Ireland.
Her key specialties are in diligence assessments of organizations, including project planning, budget monitoring and evaluation, financial management and partner assessment, auditing during and at closure of running programs. She has extensive experience in strengthening financial systems alongside risk identification and management. Partners assessed include Kitgum Women Peace Initiative, Africa 2000 Network and 26 partner districts in Uganda.
She has successfully handled bilateral/multilateral funding budgets and reports to donors; handling huge funding portfolios of over 20million euros, ensuring transparent accountability and value for money.

She is currently an Associate Consultant to Fundraising Training Ltd. Her most recent work involves developing, documenting and embedding financial policies and procedures for Uganda Science Education Program. She is also carrying out work for Sue Ryder Foundation in Malawi. Veronica is leading our programme to establish financial systems in religious orders, commissioned by the Association of Religious in Uganda.
