Strategic Reviews
This will involve a comprehensive review of the fundraising potential of a whole organisation or a fundraising department. We will complete a statistical and qualitative analysis of past performance, based upon income data plus research into the case files of key donor relationships. Potential sources of income will also be investigated. Sometimes wider research is undertaken into the fundraising attitudes and capabilities of trustees and staff across the organisation.
It will be a thorough investigation into the potential for fundraising within an organisation and will result in realistic fundraising strategy. Where necessary, additional specialists will be enlisted to supplement Bill Bruty’s expertise.
The simplest reviews have been for specialist departments (such as Trust Fundraising) and have been completed within 3 weeks.

Mentoring
We often find that people want more long-term guidance to help them with the implementation of new skills from a training programme or from a strategic review. Our team of Associates has considerable expertise in embedding new skills and systems. As well as their personal experience and expertise, they can draw upon the massive resource of guidance notes and templates that have been developed by Fundraising Training Ltd over 20 years.
Mentoring can be for a few hours a month, or a more substantial commitment. Challenges range from help with a specific funding bid, reviewing prospect research, to helping a manager to develop a three-year fundraising strategy. We provide our mentoring online, connecting experts with clients across the world; where possible we can arrange face-to-face sessions.

We can add a mentor to support your learning with the Introduction to Grantseeking Programme or the Skilled Grantseeker Programme. To help you with the implementation of an assignment related to these courses, a mentor will cost £180.

Once the training is completed, you can enlist an experienced mentor, who is able to give advice and support on all things Trusts & Foundations related. Implementation
We can help plug the gap when you don’t have sufficient staff or expertise for a new development or a new funding application. We can help establish a new fundraising function without you going through the time consuming and complex process of recruiting permanent staff. Our associates have expertise in securing funding from donors across the world, for causes as diverse as animal welfare, medical research, the arts and climate change.
Our team can be with you for a few days for a specific proposal or help with the development of a new programme over several months.
