The Segal Family Foundation

The Segal Family Foundation is based in New Jersey, USA. The Foundation backs really talented people who lack opportunities. Their programmes give opportunities and appropriate resources to people in rural Africa, allowing them to change their communities for the better. Stimulating collaboration to address common problems is a key priority. Over the years, SFF built a team based in the U.S. and Africa, and now supports over 250 partners across Sub-Saharan Africa.

We have run in-person workshops for SFF grantholders, the most recent one being in Nairobi in October 2019. We have now switched to online guidance on resource mobilisation through one-to-one mentoring and online interactive workshops. In particular we provide support for a number of African Visionary Fellows.
